About Me

Why I Do This

I have always been passionate about helping people return to the life they were living before injury, pain, or setbacks.

Whether it’s getting back to a favorite sport, staying active in a gardening club, keeping up with high school athletics, or simply managing the demands of everyday life, my goal has always been the same—help people feel confident in their ability to return to what they love.

Over the years, I’ve found that one of the most important parts of my job is not just helping people recover—but teaching them how to not end up back in therapy again.

Because the real success isn’t just recovery—it’s staying well.

My Background

I have been a licensed physical therapist for nearly 25 years, with experience across a wide range of settings, including:

  • Acute care
  • Rehabilitation (spinal cord and brain injuries)
  • Wound care
  • Aquatic therapy
  • Outpatient orthopedics
  • School-based physical therapy working with special needs populations

These experiences have allowed me to treat individuals at every stage—from early recovery to long-term wellness.

Who I Want to Help

I am most passionate about helping people who feel like they’ve lost their way when it comes to their health and fitness.

That includes:

  • Those recovering from injury
  • People starting over
  • Individuals struggling to stay consistent
  • Busy adults who feel like there’s just not enough time in the day
  • Someone that wants to reach the next level in fitness

Let’s be honest—that’s most of us.

I believe that with the right plan, exercise can fit into your life—not take it over.

My Approach

I believe that wellness should be built around the individual—not a one-size-fits-all approach.

My focus is on:

  • Evidence-based care
  • Treating the whole person—not just the injury
  • Building sustainable habits
  • Empowering individuals to take control of their health

My goal is to give you the tools and confidence to not only recover—but to maintain your progress long-term.

A Personal Perspective

I don’t just treat patients—I’ve been one.

Over the years, I’ve had multiple injuries and surgeries, including five surgeries on my left knee that ultimately led to a total knee replacement.

It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

And yes—I had a great physical therapist guiding me through recovery… myself.

That experience gave me a deeper understanding of what it truly feels like to go through the process—not just physically, but mentally as well.
